Elczar started its business activity in 1991 with poultry farming and a little abattoir near the farm. In early 2005 the company started to realize the following investments: creation of new abattoir, modernization of technological lines and raising hygienic standards. In January 2007 new poultry abattoir went into service. On the basis of the decision made by Regional Veterinarian from Swiecie on 02.03.2007 the abattoir was allowed to lead the production in the range of buying up, slaughter of poultry, whole poultry partition and the production of giblets and poultry meat as well as their distribution. Moreover, the abattoir was accepted and received veterinary identification number: 04143903.

The whole technological process is being verified by Veterinary Control. The quality is guaranteed by the inner control system of HACCP, which ensures health quality through eliminating the danger in each production phase. Steady raw material base is based on the best poultry raisers in the region and own farming, which ensures the dynamic production growth. The owners are constantly enlarging farming facility.

To avoid stagnation in taking challenges and to constantly improve our services we decided to implement in 2007 integrated system of managing the quality and food safety according to PN-EN ISO 22000:2006 and PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 norms and its certification. In 2009-2011 we have taken ARiMR „Countryside Development Programme” donation twice for 2007-2013, which allowed to enlarge efficiency and product quality.

Our plans for future are not limited to keeping the current range of our services and company area, but are targeted to constant increase of turnovers through getting new markets and increasing the range of services offered to the customer.

We are currently preparing for increasing the abattoir efficiency through developing cooling/freezing system and the new slaughtering chain. The base of all the company investments is to ensure full safety for the environment. We are fully limiting every inconveniences connected with functioning of realized processes. We are providing safety for our environment.
